With or with out the SideWinder attached before pluging in. Belkin F3U200-08INCH DB15 8-Inch USB Joystick Adapter for SideWinder. This thing didnt even show up on any of my usb ports at all. Wish it did I dont want to toss out my Good ol SideWinder controller it rocked. So much for a good idea that just didnt work.
I bought this because it said it was for the MS Sidewinder. There are no drivers available. Apparently it's only for a very specific Sidewinder, and not the one I have. Thus, it is useless. Either it works or it doesn't. For me, it didn't.
Unfortunatly it did not. I needed a adapter because my computer does not have a game port. I purchased this product hoping it would work with my steering wheel. I did know that it said "for Sidewinder", but I hoped it would work for me. I am sure it is a great product for what it was made.
received the adaptor cables (3) for a MS sidewinder pro/USB to game. The adaptors did not work. I reported this to Amazon but no one would or could not help. So I just thru them away and wrote off the expense.
Not much to say here. My computer would not recognize the joystick no matter what. I purchased this for what I thought to be its intended purpose - to connect a Microsoft Sidewinder joystick with a game/MIDI port connector to my computer's USB port. It did not work. I would not recommend purchasing this for such a purpose, unless you know of some tricks or something regarding connecting devices, drivers, etc.Thank you to Amazon for having such a wonderfully trouble-free return process. Even though this product did not work correctly, Amazon is still one of my favorite online stores.
